Many patients with whiplash, headache, and fibromyalgia develop painful jaw symptoms. These symptoms are often related to temporomandibular joint disorders, or TMD. This joint allows your jaw to move with ease.

A new case study shows that chiropractic can effectively relieve TMD. Fifteen patients received chiropractic spinal adjustments, trigger point dry needling, and mobilization of the joint and spine.Within two weeks, the patients had significant improvements in disability, pain, and jaw range of motion. They continued to experience these improvements at the two month follow-up visit.

This adds to other recent research demonstrating the benefits of chiropractic for TMD. For lasting relief of jaw pain, call our office today.
